AIR9 Frequently Asked Questions

The AIR9 Advisor by MFR is a comprehensive AI Readiness assessment platform designed to help organizations evaluate their readiness for AI adoption across 9 core categories. It also includes reporting, recommendations, AI policy templates, ROI insights, and employee culture assessment capabilities.

You can get started by creating a new AI Readiness Assessment for a client, completing the organization information, and then working through each of the 9 AI Readiness categories. Once complete, AIR9 can generate a full report showing readiness percentages, gaps, recommendations, ROI, and employee AI assessment results if that module has been used.

AIR9 assesses AI readiness across 9 categories: Infrastructure, Data, Software, Talent, Culture, Goals, Compliance / Ethics, Cybersecurity, and Finance.

The AIR9 report shows the AI readiness results for each of the 9 assessment categories, including percentage scores for each category, an overall combined AI readiness percentage, AI readiness gaps, question-level recommendations for areas below the threshold, and AI Readiness ROI information. If an Employee Culture Assessment campaign has been completed for that client, the report will also include a full Employee Culture Assessment section and AI Adoption Risk section.

The suggested AI Readiness percentage is 90%. AIR9 uses this as the target threshold for strong organizational AI readiness.

Yes. The AI Readiness report generates recommendations for questions and areas that do not meet the readiness threshold. This helps identify what needs to be improved before broader AI adoption.

The Employee Culture Assessment is a new AIR9 feature that measures employee comfort, trust, readiness, and openness toward AI adoption within the organization. It is designed to help determine whether employees understand AI, are willing to use it, feel supported by leadership, and believe the organization is prepared to adopt AI successfully.

A campaign can be created for a client from the Employee AI Adoption Assessment page. AIR9 generates a survey link that can be sent to employees. Employees can complete the survey anonymously or non-anonymously, depending on the campaign settings. Once responses are submitted, AIR9 calculates employee AI culture readiness scores, charts, and risk insights.

Yes. When a campaign is created, you can choose whether the Employee AI Adoption Assessment responses will be anonymous or not anonymous.

If a client has an employee assessment campaign, the AIR9 report will show an Employee AI Assessment section that includes the campaign name, number of responses, employee AI culture readiness percentage, culture rating, explanation of how the score is calculated, the list of employee assessment questions, the scoring model, a question-by-question bar chart, and the response distribution totals.

Each employee answer is converted into a score using the following model: Strongly Disagree = 0, Disagree = 25, Neutral = 50, Agree = 75, and Strongly Agree = 100. The employee AI culture readiness percentage is the average of all answers submitted in the campaign.

AIR9 uses the following employee culture readiness ratings:

0-24 Resistant - Employees show strong concern, discomfort, or resistance toward AI adoption.
25-49 Skeptical - Employees are cautious and uncertain, with limited trust or readiness.
50-74 Exploring - Employees are moderately open to AI and beginning to see value, but adoption is still developing.
75-100 AI-Ready Culture - Employees are highly supportive, comfortable, and ready for broader AI adoption.

The AI Adoption Risk section compares the clients overall AI Readiness percentage to the Employee AI Culture Readiness percentage. It highlights the overall risk level, provides a risk insight summary, identifies employee concern areas below 60%, and provides a recommended next step based on the results.

Top Concern Areas for employees are the employee assessment questions that score below 60%. These are shown in the AI Adoption Risk section of the report to identify the areas where employee confidence, trust, readiness, or support for AI adoption may be weakest.

The bar chart shows the average score for each employee assessment question in the selected campaign. This helps identify which employee adoption areas are strongest and which are weakest.
